Message	was the persistant noisy fuel pump. With Ash's help I discovered the pump wasn't a problem. So I went home and started looking. I found that the pump had been wired to a constant 12 volt source so it was running at full tilt and whining something fierce. As it turned out that was done by the previous owner because the the controller had burned out. So a new controller went in and the jumper wire was removed. The pump returned to normal ops and no more noise.
